Mary Pat Clarke funeral details, plus a question for readers
We’re not sure if this photo was shot when Mary Pat was a “councilwoman” or a “council president” and who she is posing with. We’re hoping someone can help us.

Family members have announced funeral arrangements for former Baltimore City Council President Mary Pat Clarke, who died on Sunday.
A funeral mass is scheduled at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, November 23, at the Cathedral of Mary Our Queen, 5200 North Charles Street, with a reception to follow.
Here are links to the obituary in which the family describes her as “a tireless advocate, problem solver, mentor and pathbreaker” and to our appreciation on the popular, progressive dynamo:
• Farewell to a dedicated crusader for good government (11/12/24)
We also have a question for readers about the photo of Mary Pat taken by former Baltimore News-American and City Paper photographer Jennifer Bishop, probably in the 1980s.
We’re not sure exactly when it was taken and who these smiling ballplayers are.
Can anyone help us identify the people, the place and the occasion?
